The Guardian books section have published a version of my piece which I'd posted here earlier on 'the right to read' .

The great thing about being published in this way is of course the number of readers you reach, which is considerable if you happen to be the Guardian online. And better still because the Guardian's interactive features allow readers to leave comments you get a sense of a wide range of people's reactions to what you write.

And who said the interent was just for porn?
